“I just want to stop eating when I’m full!”

If you find yourself asking this question more often than you’d like, you are not alone.

Eating past the point of fullness is not only physically uncomfortable, but can be emotionally distressing, too. Especially when you don’t know why it’s happening and can’t figure out how to make it stop.

There are many good reasons to explain this experience. And none of them are because you lack willpower.

This workbook highlights a couple of big ones and offers some super practical tools to help you get back in touch with your appetite cues.

“I just want to stop eating when I’m full” is a mini workbook that explores 2 common reasons for eating past fullness and offers 2 tools to help you tune into your appetite cues.

This resource is a perfect starting place for better understanding your appetite cues, especially fullness!

  • Insight into why you may be eating past fullness. I promise it’s not about willpower.

  • Practical tools to help you reconnect with hunger and fullness cues.

  • Guidance on how you can use supportive structure to help you meet your biological needs without falling into diet traps.

  • Tips for building balanced meals, which helps with appetite cue regulation.

  • A hunger & fullness scale + instructions on how to use to rebuild body awareness.

  • 3-day Eating Awareness Tracker to gently observe your eating patterns without judgment.

Here’s what you’ll get from the workbook:

Once you opt-in, here’s what else I’ll share with you:

An introduction to Intuitive Eating—what it is, why it works, and how it can help you rebuild body trust and reduce food anxiety.

🧠 A behind-the-scenes look at my own journey—how I went from a weight-loss dietitian to a non-diet, weight-inclusive practitioner and why I changed course.

🎢 Support in making sense of the emotional rollercoaster that can come with letting go of dieting—grief, hope, liberation, and everything in between.

📝 Even more reflection exercises and journaling prompts to deepen your learning and help you connect the dots between your lived experience and the bigger picture.

🌱 Inspiration and real-life stories from people who’ve stopped waiting for their “ideal body” to start living the life they want.

🌍 A compassionate invitation to think bigger—about your own healing and how it connects to dismantling systems of body oppression.

❤️ Reassurance that you are not the problem—and you never were.

Why I created this resource

So often when I start working with a new client who has a long history of yo-yo dieting, who’s “tried everything” to lose weight, and who’s also now exhausted from dieting but doesn’t know what to do instead they’ll say something like, “why can’t I stop eating when I’m full when other people can?”

This is a BIG question and there are many contributing factors. However, in my many years of experience doing this work, there are a couple of very common themes, which have everything to do with how diets and diet culture mess with our biology and our psychology.

I created this resource because I want to:

  1. Help you understand that your struggles with food are not a personal failing; and

  2. Provide tools that can start you on your path to eat in a way that feels good and heal your relationship to food.
