Your body is worth trusting.
Your relationship with food can be too.
Non-diet, weight-inclusive nutrition coaching for eating disorder recovery, intuitive eating, and building lasting body trust.
Hi, I’m Dana!
I am a non-diet, weight-inclusive registered dietitian who believes that all humans deserve to feel at home in their bodies and that feeding ourselves shouldn’t be fraught with fear and shame.
As a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist & Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, I help folks navigate the full spectrum of eating concerns—from a diagnosed eating disorder to chronic dieting and disordered eating patterns to just learning to feed yourself well without rigid rules.
Together, I’ll help you cultivate more peace, ease, and satisfaction with food, while building sustainable and non-restrictive habits that support whole health and well-being.

What if feeding yourself well

Have you ever thought, felt or said, I wish I could just stop eating when I’m full?
Seems like it should be a lot easier than it is, right? If you feel this way please know, you are so not alone!
You are also not the problem. There are good explanations for why your experiences with food are what they are.
In this super handy downloadable resource I share a couple of very common reasons why stopping at fullness can be so tough and a couple of tools you can start using TODAY to help.
What is Intuitive Eating?
Have you ever followed a nutrition or lifestyle program that tells you exactly what, when, and how much to eat?
Well, Intuitive Eating is basically the opposite of that.
Rather than a restrictive food plan that preys on your self-doubt, Intuitive Eating is a framework that guides you toward reconnecting with your innate body wisdom and empowers you to be your own authority on your food decisions.
Intuitive Eating will help you restore body trust, rediscover satisfaction with eating, and nourish your whole self well.
This group was genuinely life changing! Being able to read the intuitive eating book is great, but being able to discuss it with others who are also in the learning process was even better. Learning to become an intuitive eater can be intimidating so being able to talk with others who are also learning made me feel less alone. And Dana is a great facilitator and offers such guidance through the process!

This group offered a fantastic way for me to be introduced to the principles of intuitive eating and allowed me to share my thoughts with a community of like-minded people also learning about the principles. Dana does such a wonderful job of making the space safe and I felt comfortable sharing in every discussion. If you are interested in learning about intuitive eating and would like to converse with others about the topic, I cannot recommend this group enough! I was not sure if I would continue with intuitive eating, but after being a part of this group, I plan on continuing my intuitive eating journey. I am getting the support I need and am so glad I happened to stumble upon this group!

Having struggled with disordered eating my entire adult life, I, of course, have spent a lot of time with dieticians and nutritionists. I can honestly say that Dana was the first and only one who really listened to me and provided help right where I was. She didn’t push me to be in a place I wasn’t ready for yet—she was patient and kind and compassionate in the most healing way. I never felt judged by Dana; in fact, I felt completely accepted and safe to be totally honest with her. I will never go to another nutrition counselor…

What does it mean to be weight-inclusive?
To be weight-inclusive means:
✅ to create and hold spaces that are accessible to bodies of all sizes and free of stigma, bias, and shame
✅ to believe that body diversity is real and that all bodies, regardless of size, are worthy of dignity, care, and respect
✅ to reject the assumption that health and well-being can be reduced to body size alone
✅ to support humans in building sustainable, health enhancing behaviors, if they so choose, without centering weight loss a metric of progress
